In order to get in line for a custom item I require a deposit and then you are next on the list. I will email you with an estimated finish date, usually 4-6 weeks...sometimes I may have several orders ahead of yours. After your item is completed I will send you pictures and an invoice for the remaining balance of your order, usually no more than $70 is owed, depending on the size and detail of the item.
I use to require full payment on custom items and I have found this not to work well because I always underestimate the time. Obviously the more intricate the patchwork or applique is, the more time it will take, so I do not know the exact price until your item is finished.
